Like IPL (Indian Premier League), Pakistan Cricket Board has launched PSL (Pakistan Super League) in Lahore on 21st September. The glittering ceremony has made even more beautiful and enthusiastic with presence of the cricket legendaries, stars from the entertainment field and also corporate representatives.

Mr. Najam Sethi, the PSL governing Council Chairman explained the various aspects of the league. The franchise-based T20 cricket tournament is all set to start in February 2016.

Many of the foreign country players registered to participate in the league who includes the West Indies best player Chris Gayle, Sri lankan super cricketer Lasith Malinga and also Kieron Pollard, Grant Elliot, Dwayne Bravo, Sunil Narine, Luke Wright, Andre Russell, Angelo Mathews, Samuel Badree, Thisara Perera, Ravi Bopara, TM Dilshan, Shakib al Hassan, Darren Sammy, Dwayne Smith falls in the list.

Pakistani legend player and the PSL brand ambassador Wasim Akram said that "Imagine our young players playing with the likes of Gayle, Kevin Pietersen, and Malinga. Our players will gain a lot of confidence through this."

Many of the celebrities from entertainment field also present in the ceremony who includes Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Ayesha Omar, Ali Azmat, Urwa Hocane, Humaima Malick, Aijaz Aslam, Nadia Hussain, and Iman Ali. The show included a live musical performance from renowned band Strings.
