It is known that Telangana TDP Legislator Revanth Reddy was arrested last month for alleged involvment in cash-for-vote scam. He was sent to 14 days remand after being produced in the court.
As the remand period has come to an end Yesterday, Revanth Reddy and Other Accused (Uday Simha, Sebastian) were produced in the Special Court Today. The court extended the judicial custody of all the three accused till June 29th.
ACB Officials brought to the notice of Court that investigation into cash-for-vote scam is still pending as they were yet to receive the report from forensic lab regarding the audio tapes recorded during the sting operation. Court agreed with the version of ACB and extended the custody. The accused were taken back to Cherlapally Central Prison soon after the hearing.
Sources say, ACB Sleuths have already submitted a memo to Court on cash-for-vote scam.
