Activists of Congress, YSRCP and left parties on Friday burned the effigies of PM Narendra Modi and staged protests demanding a special status for AP.

The activists were aggressive in several place including Vijayawada, Guntur, Nellore and Tirupati. However, police rounded up the protesters and shifted them to the nearby police stations.
