The YSR Congress Member of Parliament Midhun Reddy was booked by the Andhra Pradesh Police for allegedly slapping an Air India flight manager.
This is the best example for the title, that political fellows are abusing their power. The incident took place at Tirupathi airport where the flight staff was refused to board the family members of the MP after the boarding point was over.
Considering this issue, Mithun Reddy went on to speak with the Air India flight manager named Rajasekhar and picked up an argument.
This argument slowly resulted in slapping the manager. Whereas, Mithun said that they have filed a false case. There are no CCTV footages to make it truth.
Mithun said that, "The story is false. The Air India person misbehaved me and later apologised and the matter was sorted out. Later in the night ruling TDP forced Air India manager to file a false complaint. Air India has no evidence. The TDP is harrassing me and local Police were not registering my counter complaint. Finally they agreed to register my complaint."
According to the complaint given by the manager, a case was filed against Mithun under sections 323 (Voluntarily causing hurt), 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty) and 448 (house-trespass).
Mithun Reddy represents Rajampet constituency in Kadapa district of the state.
