A central figure of politics and the first Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was born on 14 November 1889. Today students in the every corner of the country will celebrate children’s day on the occasion of his B-Day as he is very fond towards children.

Regarding his birth place:

Everyone claims that Nehru was born at Anand Bhawan, which is not. Nehru’s father Motilal and his mother Swaruparani Thussu gave birth to Nehru at an old building of Allahabad’s Meer Gunj. From that time to till now it is a place where prostitution takes place. After giving birth, Motilal shifted them to Anand Bhawan. As per records, Anand Bhawan is not Motilal’s own house, it was owned by Mubarak Ali which was later owned by Motilal.

What is the reason behind his name?

Motilal and his wife when she was carrying Nehru went to the holy river Ganga to offer some prayers. At that instance, one saint explained Motilal regarding the child they are going to give birth. He said that, the child in your wife’s pregnancy is a ghost he will spoil the whole nation. In order not to give birth, give her some poison (Zeher in Hindi). Confused Motilal, said to his wife as Saint requested to keep our child name as Jawahar (meaning diamond in Hindi). Thus, his name produced as Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

Nehru’s Romantic Life:

Haters list will increase when topic comes regarding his youth time. Nehru married to Kamala Kaul and gave birth to Indira Gandhi. Later she died because of health problem. Losing his wife in so early age, started attracting towards other woman and dated with Shraddha Mata, Sarojini Naidu’s daughter Padmaja Naidu and also hold some strong relationship with the wife of last viceroy of India Lord Mountbatten.
